Supporting all types of grief
Grief is one of the most profound experiences we face as human beings — and one of the least understood. Whether you're mourning the death of someone you love, navigating a life transition, or carrying a loss that others may not fully recognize, your grief is valid, and your journey deserves compassionate support.
"Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love." — David Kessler
As a grief educator trained under David Kessler, I bring a deep, research-informed understanding of how grief works and how we can find meaning within it. Drawing on his pioneering work — including the sixth stage of grief: finding meaning — I offer education, guidance, and a safe space to help you move through loss, not over it.
Grief extends far beyond the death of a loved one. It can look like the quiet ache of an empty nest, the profound identity shift of a gray divorce, or the ongoing mourning that comes with living with chronic illness or pain. These losses are real, they are valid, and they deserve to be honored. There is no timeline, and no right way to grieve. But there is support, and there is hope.
The Messy Middle: Navigating Menopause
- Menopause is more than a physical transition, it is a profound life shift that can bring with it a deep and unexpected sense of grief. The loss of a familiar sense of self, shifting identity, changes in relationships, and the emotional weight of "who am I now?" are all real and valid experiences that deserve to be acknowledged and supported.
- The messy middle of menopause can feel isolating, confusing, and even invisible to those around you. Hot flashes and hormonal changes are only part of the story. Many women find themselves grieving a version of themselves they are leaving behind — and that grief matters.
- You don't have to white-knuckle your way through this season of life. With compassionate support and education, you can move through the uncertainty, honor what is changing, and begin to find meaning and even possibility on the other side.
