Therapy for Student Therapists - Supporting clinicians from student interns, to residents (RIC), to licensure (LPC)
It is my belief that we, as therapists, can only take our clients as far as we have gone ourselves. Engaging in your own therapeutic work is a foundational part of becoming a grounded, self-aware, and effective clinician. I view this space as one that can support both your personal growth and your professional identity development.
Reduced Fee Agreement In recognition of your commitment to the counseling profession and the financial challenges often associated with training, I offer a reduced session rate for counseling students and residents in training. This is a significant reduction from my standard fee and is intended to make therapy more accessible during this stage of your career.
Scope of Services: Therapy may include exploration of personal, relational, emotional, and professional themes. You are welcome to bring in material related to your clinical training, but please note that this is not supervision. Our work will center on you as the client, not on your clients or caseload. If you are in need of supervision, we can discuss appropriate referrals.
